Isaac turned 2 on July 21, but we were on the road back from Utah, so we celebrated it the following Saturday, on the 28th. We had a pool party at our complex, but we were worried because we have had so much rain this summer. The forecast for that day was lots of rain! We were in luck because that morning it was very sunny and hot, and it didn't rain until late in the afternoon. Isaac loves Elmo, so of course, that was the theme of the party. I made his Elmo cake and we had an Elmo piñata. He did hit the piñata, but when it got mutilated, he cried because he loves Elmo so much. We had all our relatives over, as well as many friends.
